What is the best way to store fresh dill?
photo of Canadian Living Test Kitchen Staff
The best way to store fresh dill is to first wash the entire bunch of dill -- including the roots -- in cold water, because that's where all the sand and dirt accumulate. After spin drying the dill in a salad spinner or drying with a hand towel, dry wrap the dill in a lightly dampened paper towel or damp tea towel. Place the dill in a re-sealable bag and store it in your refrigerator crisper. The dill should last up to 2 weeks. -- Kathy Lee Morren
