Ingredients
- 1 egg 1 1eggeggs
- 1/4 cup dry breadcrumbs 1/4 1/4cup cupdry breadcrumbs
- 1/2 tsp salt 1/2 1/2tsp tspsalt
- 1/4 tsp pepper 1/4 1/4tsp tsppepper
- 1 cup shredded Cheddar cheese 1 1cup cupshredded Cheddar cheese
- 1 green apple , grated1 1green applegreen apples, grated
- 1 lb medium ground beef 1 1lb lbmedium ground beef
- Toppers:
- 4 tbsp Dijonnaise sauce 4 4tbsp tbspDijonnaise sauce
- 4 tbsp alfalfa sprouts 4 4tbsp tbspalfalfa sprouts
Preparation
In bowl, beat egg with fork; mix in bread crumbs, salt, pepper, cheese and apple. Mix in ground beef.
Shape into four 1/2-inch (1 cm) thick patties. Place on greased grill over medium-high heat; close lid and cook, turning once, for about 10 minutes or until no longer pink inside.
Add Dijonnaise sause and alfalfa sprouts. Place each in bun.
