Spicy-sweet nibbles like these keep people coming back for more. Set them out with a bowl of pineapple chunks and toothpicks to spear every last bite. Look for Thai chili sauce in Asian food stores and some supermarkets. Or use your favourite purchased Asian dipping sauce.
Ingredients
- 1/3 cup Thai sweet chili sauce
- 1 green onion, minced
- 8 oz large raw shrimp, peeled and deveined
Preparation
In bowl, mix chili sauce with onion; add shrimp and toss to coat.
Place shrimp on foil-lined baking sheet; spoon any remaining sauce over top. Broil, turning once, for about 3 minutes or until pink and firm to the touch. Transfer to serving dish; spoon any remaining sauce over top.
