She was scouted in a mall fashion show at the age of 15 and began modeling for beauty campaigns around the world, after which she became a trained actor for both film and television. Through all of this, Christine's obsession for food was there. She never forgot her love of cooking at an early age, when she would help her mother bake bread. She longed to return to those culinary roots.Christine eventually enrolled in the Chef Training program at George Brown College in Toronto and went on to develop her skills at some of the top restaurants in Toronto, bringing her down-home attitude to big city kitchens.
