Strawberry Shortcake recipe
Ingredients

    1/4 cup (50 mL) milk
    2 tbsp (25 mL) butter
    1 tsp (5 mL) grated orange rind
    3/4 cup (175 mL) sifted cake-and-pastryflour
    1 tsp (5 mL) baking powder
    1/4 tsp (1 mL) salt
    5 eggs
    3/4 cup (175 mL) granulated sugar

    Filling:
    1-1/2 cups (375 mL) whipping cream
    2 tbsp (25 mL) granulated sugar
    1 tsp (5 mL) vanilla
    4 cups (1 L) sliced strawberries

    Garnish:
    1 tsp (5 mL) icing sugar
    5 whole strawberries
