Prairie Scene

On April 26, 2011, 500 artists from Manitoba and Saskatchewan will invade our nation’s capital for Prairie Scene (www.prairiescene.ca), to celebrate Canada's finest established and emerging artists from Saskatchewan and Manitoba. Running from April 26 until May 8, 2011, The National Arts Centre-produced festival means musicians of all kinds, actors, dancers, filmmakers, visual and media artists, writers, and chefs will strut their stuff in 80 different events in venues across Ottawa-Gatineau.

We wanted to get to know some of these artists a little better, and what better way than to ask them about food? Here’s what "prairie home cooking" means to them.
