The Canadian Living Test Kitchen: Tested Till Perfect

What does "Tested Till Perfect" mean, anyway? Here's the Canadian Living story.

In The Canadian Living Test Kitchen, our days are a celebration of peeling, chopping, slicing, simmering, roasting, steaming, folding, whipping, glazing and kneading as we develop and test recipes in our kitchen so that they'll turn out perfectly in yours.

We test our recipes not once, not twice, not three times -- we test them till they're perfect. And what does that mean? The food looks good, smells good, tastes good, and the methods incorporate good home-cooking techniques, the kind cooking Canadians really use to get food on the table. We test all of our recipes with appliances just like yours at home, so that your results will be just like ours in our kitchen.

If a recipe doesn't meet our high standards, we know it won't meet yours, either, so it's back to the drawing board until we're satisfied that you and your family will be satisfied.

We constantly ask ourselves and each other (creating recipes in The Canadian Living Test Kitchen is a collaborative effort) whether a dish is as tasty, attractive and easy to make as possible. The truth is, our life is food, and we want everyone to enjoy cooking and eating as much as we do.
