Simple and comforting, this yummy dish is truly satisfying.

Ingredients

Preparation

In saucepan, melt butter over medium heat; cook green onions, garlic and bay leaf, stirring often, until fragrant, about 2 minutes.

Stir in corn, salt and pepper; cook, stirring often, 5 minutes for frozen, 7 minutes for fresh.

Sprinkle with flour; cook, stirring, for 1 minute. Whisk in cream; simmer until thickened, 3 minutes. Discard bay leaf.

Transfer one-third to blender; puree until smooth. Return to saucepan and stir to combine.
