Creamy Dill Romaine Salad
This recipe makes 4 servings
Ingredients
- Salad:
- 4 cups romaine lettuce
- 1 4 inch (10 cm) English cucumbers, sliced
- 1 tomato, halved lengthwise and sliced crosswise
- Dressing:
- 2 tbsp wine vinegar
- 1 tsp Dijon mustard
- 1 clove garlic, minced (optional)
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp pepper
- 1/4 tsp granulated sugar
- 2 tbsp vegetable oil
- 2 tbsp light sour cream
- 1 tbsp chopped fresh dill
Preparation
Salad:
In salad bowl, combine romaine, cucumber and tomato.
Dressing: Whisk together vinegar, mustard, garlic, sugar, salt and pepper. Whisk in vegetable oil. Whisk in sour cream and dill.
Toss salad with dressing and serve.
