> FOOD TIP: June 22 - 26, 2009:
Make an easy tomato omelette without the tomato skins
Simply cut your tomatoes in halves or quarters (depending on the size of your tomatoes) and freeze them until needed. Once the frozen tomatoes hit the shock of a hot pan, the peel comes right off! No cutting or peeling of the skin is required. Remove skins from the pan and begin your omelette. Of course this neat trick can be applied to a variety of tomatoe recipes. Bon Apetit!
