  • 1-1/2 cups 1-1/2cupswhole wheat flour
  • 1 cup 1cupall-purpose flour
  • 1 cup 1cupskim milk powder
  • 1/3 cup 1/3cupmelted meat fat, (beef, lamb or bacon)
  • 1 1eggeggs
  • 1 cup 1cupcold water
To change the number of servings, enter the number, then press "calculate". or reset


In bowl, combine whole wheat and all-purpose flours and skim milk powder. Drizzle with melted fat. Add egg and water; mix well. Gather dough into ball.

On lightly floured surface, roll out dough to 1/2-inch (1 cm) thickness. Cut into dog-bone or desired shapes. Bake on ungreased baking sheets in 350°F (180°C) oven for 40 to 50 minutes or until dark brown and crisp.
