Ingredients
- 1-1/2 cups whole wheat flour 1-1/2 1-1/2cups cupswhole wheat flour
- 1 cup all-purpose flour 1 1cup cupall-purpose flour
- 1 cup skim milk powder 1 1cup cupskim milk powder
- 1/3 cup melted meat fat , (beef, lamb or bacon)1/3 1/3cup cupmelted meat fat, (beef, lamb or bacon)
- 1 egg 1 1eggeggs
- 1 cup cold water 1 1cup cupcold water
Preparation
In bowl, combine whole wheat and all-purpose flours and skim milk powder. Drizzle with melted fat. Add egg and water; mix well. Gather dough into ball.
On lightly floured surface, roll out dough to 1/2-inch (1 cm) thickness. Cut into dog-bone or desired shapes. Bake on ungreased baking sheets in 350°F (180°C) oven for 40 to 50 minutes or until dark brown and crisp.
