Easy Bean Spread
Tasty in any interesting sandwich, this spread also makes a great dip for vegetables or breadsticks.
Servings: 1-2/3 cups (400 mL)
Ingredients:

1 can white kidney beans, drained and rinsed (19 oz/540 mL)
2 tbsp (25 mL) lemon juice
2 tbsp (25 mL) olive oil
1/2 tsp (2 mL) salt
1/4 tsp (1 mL) garlic powder
1/4 tsp (1 mL) pepper
Preparation:
In food processor, puree white kidney beans, lemon juice, olive oil, salt, garlic powder and pepper. (Make-ahead: Refrigerate in airtight container for up to 3 days.)
