This dish needs no attention as it slowly simmers to succulence in the oven. Caroline makes all 10 chops called for so that her husband has a few left over for lunch the next day.
Ingredients

- 3 cups tomato-based pasta sauce 3 3cups cupstomato-based pasta sauce

- 1 onion , chopped1 1oniononions, chopped
- 2 cloves of garlic , minced2 2clove garliccloves of garlic, minced
- 1/2 sweet red pepper , chopped1/2 1/2sweet red peppersweet red peppers, chopped
- 1/2 sweet green pepper , chopped1/2 1/2sweet green peppersweet green peppers, chopped
Preparation
Trim fat from chops; place in large roasting pan.
In saucepan, bring pasta sauce, tomatoes, onion and garlic to boil; pour over chops. Cover and bake in 375°F (190°C) oven for 1-1/2 hours.
Add chopped green and red peppers; bake, covered, for about 30 minutes or until pork is tender enough to fall off the bone.
