This summer, we planted a culinary garden to grow fresh herbs, tomatoes and lettuces for the Canadian Living Test Kitchen. We love being able to grab a handful of fresh basil or pluck a sun-ripened purple krim tomato from the vine. And what’s more fun than setting up a table outdoors, inviting some guests over and literally showing off the fruits and veggies of our labour? Nothing, but you better get going, because this al fresco entertaining weather isn’t here for much longer.
Here’s a menu for 6 inspired by some of the things growing in our garden. Enjoy!
