Peaches give this drink a smooth texture. To peel them, blanch in boiling water just long enough to loosen the skin, then peel. You can also use frozen sliced peaches.
Ingredients
- 3 cups ice cubes 3 3cups cupsice cubes
- 3 cups sliced peeled peaches 3 3cups cupssliced peeled peachpeaches
- 6 oz white rum 6 6oz ozwhite rum or amber rum
- 3 oz peach schnapps 3 3oz ozpeach schnapps
- 3 oz lime juice 3 3oz ozlime juice
- 1/3 cup instant dissolving (fruit/berry) sugar 1/3 1/3cup cupinstant dissolving (fruit/berry) sugar or icing sugar
Preparation
In blender, pulse together ice, peaches, rum, schnapps, lime juice and sugar until ice breaks down.
Blend on high until smooth and slushy. Pour into pitcher.
