Gin Kir Cocktail
Heather Howe's colourful, classic cocktail, with its touch of sparkle, is perfect for toasting. Choose a light-flavoured gin to enhance the black currant flavour. Enjoy it with Gorgonzola and Black Mission Fig Cups.

1/2 oz (15 mL) crème de cassis
4 oz (125 mL) soda water
Lemon twist
Preparation:
Fill wineglass with ice cubes. Add gin and crème de cassis; top with soda water, stirring until just combined. Garnish with lemon twist.
