Cooking the beans right in the skillet with their sauce not only saves a pan but also infuses the beans with the wonderful zing of ginger.

Ingredients

Preparation

In large dry skillet over medium heat, toast sesame seeds, shaking pan occasionally, until golden, 3 minutes. Set aside.

In same skillet, heat oil over medium heat; fry garlic, ginger, salt and pepper until fragrant, about 30 seconds. Add beans; cook, stirring, for 2 minutes. Add stock; cover and steam for 6 minutes.

Uncover and cook until liquid is evaporated and beans are tender-crisp, about 2 minutes. Sprinkle with sesame seeds.
