Ingredients
- 2/3 cup 2/3cupsliced almonds, crushed
- 2 tbsp 2tbspbutter
- 1/4 tsp 1/4tspsalt
- 1 lb 1lbgreen beangreen beans, trimmed
Preparation
In skillet, toast almonds over medium-high heat just until golden, about 4 minutes. Remove and set aside.
Add 3/4 cup (175 mL) water, butter and salt to skillet; bring to boil. Add beans; reduce heat, cover and simmer until bright green, about 3 minutes.
Uncover and simmer, turning beans often, until tender and no liquid remains, about 8 minutes. Toss with almonds.
