Green Slime (Spinach Dip)
This recipe makes 33 1 tbsp (15 mL) servings
Enjoy a seasonal delicacy like Skeleton Bread with this creamy dip.
Ingredients
- 1 pkg (300 g) frozen spinach , thawed1 pkg (300 g) frozen spinach, thawed
- 1 pkg (4 oz/125 g) cream cheese 1 pkg (4 oz/125 g) cream cheese
- 1/2 cup sour cream 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1/3 cup mild salsa 1/3 cup mild salsa
- 2 green onions , chopped2 green onions, chopped
- 1 clove garlic , minced1 clove garlic, minced
- 1/2 tsp salt 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp pepper 1/2 tsp pepper
Preparation
Drain spinach; squeeze dry. In food processor, purée spinach, cheese, sour cream, salsa, onions, garlic, salt and pepper. Cover and refrigerate for 2 hours or until thickened slightly. Let stand at room temperature for 30 minutes.
