  • 6 cups 6cupstorn mixed salad greens
  • 1/4 cup 1/4cuptoasted chopped pecanpecans

Cranberry Poppy Seed Dressing:

  • 1/4 cup 1/4cupcoarsely chopped dried cranberrydried cranberries
  • 2 tbsp 2tbspvegetable oil
  • 2 tbsp 2tbspwhite wine vinegar
  • 2 tsp 2tsppoppy seeds
  • 1 pinch 1pinchsalt
  • 1 pinch 1pinchpepper
  • 1 pinch 1pinchgranulated sugar

Cranberry Poppy Seed Dressing: In large bowl, whisk together cranberries, oil, vinegar, poppy seeds, salt, pepper and sugar.

Add salad greens and toss to coat. Sprinkle with pecans.

Greens with Rosemary Balsamic Dressing: Omit Cranberry Poppy Seed Dressing. Substitute 3 tbsp (50 mL) extra-virgin olive oil; 2 tbsp (25 mL) balsamic vinegar; 1 tsp (5 mL) crumbled dried rosemary; 1 clove garlic, minced; and pinch each salt and pepper.
