Horseradish Mashed Potatoes
Horseradish is just one of the dozens of add-ins that chef Smith mashes into one of his dad's preferred sides.

8 Yukon Gold potatoes (about 2-3/4 lb/1.375 kg), peeled and cubed
3/4 cup (175 mL) hot milk
1/4 cup (50 mL) butter
4 tsp (20 mL) prepared horseradish
1 tsp (5 mL) salt
1/4 tsp (1 mL) pepper
Pinch nutmeg
Preparation:
In large pot of boiling salted water, cover and cook potatoes for 20 minutes or until tender; drain and return to pot.
With potato masher, mash together hot milk, butter, horseradish, salt, pepper and nutmeg.
