1 cinnamon stick, broken
5 each whole cloves and allspice
2 slices gingerroot
3 cups (750 mL) apple cider
1-1/2 cups (375 mL) 100% pomegranate juice
2 tbsp (25 mL) liquid honey
Preparation:
Add apple cider, pomegranate juice and honey; bring to simmer over medium heat. Reduce heat to medium-low; cover and simmer for 20 minutes.
Additional Information
- Tip: If the cider becomes cloudy while heating, strain through cheesecloth-lined sieve before serving.
