This orange cocktail with black licorice garnish is just made for Halloween.
Ingredients
- 1-1/2 oz apricot nectar 1-1/2 1-1/2oz ozapricot nectar or apricot juice
- 1-1/4 oz Tennessee whisky 1-1/4 1-1/4oz ozTennessee whisky or bourbon
- 1 oz apricot brandy 1 1oz ozapricot brandy
- 1 tsp lemon juice 1 1tsp tsplemon juice
- Garnish
- 1 black licorice stick , (4-inch/10 cm)1 1black licorice stickblack licorice sticks, (4-inch/10 cm)
Preparation
Fill cocktail shaker with ice. Add apricot nectar, whiskey, apricot brandy and lemon juice; shake vigorously to blend and chill. Strain into old-fashion glass. Garnish with licorice for swizzle stick.
Additional information : Nonalcoholic Jack-o'-Lantern:
Omit whiskey and brandy. Increase apricot juice to 3 oz (6 Tbsp). After pouring into glass, top with 2 oz (60ml) ginger ale.
