June 2008 advertorial erratum: Storage of Homemade Flavoured Oil

June 2008 advertorial correction:  Please read this statement from Saputo regarding their Homemade Flavoured Oil recipe insert.

Flavoured oil correction
The June 2008 issue of Canadian Living magazine contained an advertising insert from Saputo, called All the Best from Alexis.

Error
The storage information of the flavoured oil, in the “Homemade Flavoured Oil” on page 7, is incorrect.

Correction
The preparation method should have read:

  • Seal and put in the refrigerator.
  • Store in the refrigerator in between each use. The flavoured oil must be discarded after one week.
