June Strawberry Champagne Bowl
For a June wedding, or any party for that matter, try this pretty white wine, strawberry and champagne punch.
Servings: 15
Ingredients:

4 cups (1 L) fresh strawberries
1/2 cup (125 mL) brandy
1/3 cup (75 mL) granulated sugar
2 bottles (each 1 L) Riesling-type white wine
1 bottle (750 mL) champagne, chilled
Block of ice
Preparation:
Wash and hull berries; combine in large container with brandy and white wine. Stir gently to dissolve sugar. Cover and chill overnight. Chill punch bowl.
To serve, pour mixture over block of ice in punch bowl. Add champagne and ladle into glasses.
