June Strawberry Champagne Bowl

For a June wedding, or any party for that matter, try this pretty white wine, strawberry and champagne punch.

  • 4 cups 4cupsfresh strawberryfresh strawberries
  • 1/2 cup 1/2cupbrandy
  • 1/3 cup 1/3cupgranulated sugar
  • 2 bottles 2bottles(each 1 L) Riesling-type white wine
  • 1 bottle 1bottle(750 mL) champagne, chilled
  • 1 1block of ice

Wash and hull berries; combine in large container with brandy and white wine. Stir gently to dissolve sugar. Cover and chill overnight. Chill punch bowl.

To serve, pour mixture over block of ice in punch bowl. Add champagne and ladle into glasses.
