Krispie No-Bake Fruit Balls

    3/4 cup (175 mL) dried cherries or cranberries
    3/4 cup (175 mL) dried apples
    3/4 cup (175 mL) pitted dates
    1/2 cup (125 mL) toasted whole almonds
    2 tbsp (25 mL) each orange juice and water
    1-1/2 cups (375 mL) Rice Krispies® cereal

Preparation:

In food processor, purée together cherries, apples, dates and almonds to form paste, scraping down side of bowl.

Add orange juice and water; pulse until smooth. Transfer to bowl. Stir in 1/2 cup (125 mL) of the Rice Krispies®.

Spread remaining cereal in shallow dish. With dampened hands, roll paste by rounded 1 tsp (5 mL) into balls. Roll in cereal to coat.
