Choose a gin with a light citrus accent, such as Hendrick or Plymouth, for this cocktail.
Ingredients
- 1-1/4 oz gin 1-1/4 1-1/4oz ozgin
- 1 oz lemon juice , (about half a lemon)1 1oz ozlemon juice, (about half a lemon)
- 1-1/2 tsp instant dissolving or fine granulated sugar 1-1/2 1-1/2tsp tspinstant dissolving or fine granulated sugar
- 2 oz soda water 2 2oz ozsoda water
- 1 twist of lemon peel 1 1twist of lemon peel
Preparation
Fill cocktail shaker with ice. Add gin, lemon juice and sugar; shake vigorously to blend and chill. Strain into martini glass; top with soda water. Garnish with lemon twist.
