- 6 (about 2 lb/1 kg) Yukon Gold potatoes scrubbed
- 1/2 cup hot milk
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
- 1/2 cup light sour cream
Cut potatoes into 1/2-inch (1 cm) chunks. In saucepan of boiling salted water, cover and cook potatoes until tender, 15 minutes. Drain and return to pot.
Mash with hot milk, salt and pepper. Stir in sour cream.
