Maple Leaf Sour

This maple-flavoured adaptation of a whisky sour should please both patriots and Toronto hockey fans alike. Be sure to use real maple syrup and look for maple sugar at specialty shops.

  • 1-1/2 cups 1-1/2cupsrye whisky
  • 3/4 cup 3/4cuplemon juice
  • 1/3 cup 1/3cupmaple syrup
  • maple sugar and/or lemon slices

In pitcher, stir together whisky, lemon juice and maple syrup until blended. Top with ice; stir until well chilled.

Serve in glasses rimmed with maple sugar and/or garnished with lemon.
