Summer safety tips
The key to the perfect picnic or potluck is having an assortment of salads that keep well and can be transported easily. If you're going to take your food to another location, keep it in a cooler so it doesn't go bad. Also, don't leave food outside for more than an hour when the temperature is 26°C or hotter. When you do have it out, keep it covered and out of direct sunlight.
