A feast for Eid
A special menu created for the celebration of Eid-ul-Fitr, the Muslim feast that follows Ramadan's 30 days of fasting. If the portions seem generous, remember that Afghan food tastes even better the next day after spices and juices have had time to meld and season the rice.
Eid-ul-Fitr Celebration for Eight:
Leek pastries with Mild Spices (Boulani) with Fresh Coriander Chutney
Baked Chicken Drumsticks (Kabobs)
Basmati Rice with Carrots, Raisins and Spices (Kabil)
