Freezer appetizers
Fancy finger foods are always a feature at holiday gatherings and cocktail parties. What better way for the cook to enjoy the party than to prepare these make-ahead appetizers, all of which can be either served right away or frozen for later.
Caterer’s trick:
Freeze appetizers on parchment paper-lined or foil-lined baking sheets; overwrap with plastic wrap and foil. Unwrap trays and pop them straight into the oven, or thaw in the refrigerator, then bake as directed.
