The complex, sour-sweet flavours of pomegranate molasses (available in Middle Eastern and fine food stores) give this dip a tangy edge. If you can't find it, use 3 tbsp (50 mL) lemon juice and 2 tbsp (25 mL) liquid honey instead. Serve with pita chips.

Thai red curry paste adds Southeast Asian heat and zest to ground pork. Asian Home Gourmet paste is milder than other brands. Or you can adjust the amount to suit your spice tolerance. No lemongrass? Check the produce section for Gourmet Garden Squeezable Fresh Lemongrass or substitute 1/2 tsp (2 mL) grated lime rind.
Delightful cocktail sticks look pretty standing in martini glasses or vases. For fun, make all four varieties and station them around the room.
