Gabrielle Bright loves the great old classic songs, and this spicy cocktail (the drink that introduced vodka to North America) is perfect with Bing crooning in the background. Thai Shrimp Cakes with Pineapple Relish complement the spicy ginger beer.

Ingredients

  • 1-1/2 oz vodka
  • juice of 1/2 a Lime
  • 6 oz nonalcoholic ginger beer
  • Lime wheel

Preparation

Fill highball glass or large old-fashioned glass with ice. Add vodka and lime juice. Top with ginger beer; stir to just blend. Garnish with lime wheel.

Montego Bay Mule:
Omit vodka.
