There's nothing like a warm drink to welcome guests on a cold winter day. Sweeten it with honey or sugar if desired.
Ingredients
- 4 cinnamon sticks , broken4 4cinnamon stickcinnamon sticks, broken
- 2 whole star anise 2 2whole star anise
- 6 whole cloves 6 6whole cloves
- 2 strips (3x1 inch/8x2.5 cm) orange rind 2 2strips (3x1 inch/8x2.5 cm) strips (3x1 inch/8x2.5 cm)orange rind
- 4 cups cranberry cocktail 4 4cups cupscranberry cocktail
- 4 cups hot brewed tea 4 4cups cupshot brewed tea
Preparation
Tie cinnamon, star anise, cloves and orange rind in cheesecloth square. In saucepan, heat cranberry cocktail with spice bag over low heat for 15 minutes. Discard spice bag. Stir in tea. Keep warm.

Mulled Cranberry Wine: Use red wine instead of tea.
