Partytime calls for these creamy bites to accompany other antipasto items, such as roasted peppers, olives, prosciutto, caper berries and more. To serve, you can sprinkle them with sea salt to taste.

Ingredients

    1 tsp (5 mL) each cumin seeds and crushed mixed peppercorns
    1/4 cup (50 mL) extra-virgin olive_oil
    1/4 tsp (1 mL) dried oregano
    8 oz (250 g) bocconcini or cubed mozzarella cheese

Preparation

In small skillet, toast cumin seeds and peppercorns over medium heat until popping and fragrant. Transfer to bowl. Add oil, oregano and bocconcini; stir to coat. Scrape into jar or terrine. (Make-ahead: Cover and refrigerate for up to 3 days.)
