Ingredients
- 1 egg 1 1eggeggs
- 1/4 cup dry bread crumbs 1/4 1/4cup cupdry bread crumbs
- 1/4 cup thick teriyaki sauce 1/4 1/4cup cupthick teriyaki sauce
- 1 green onion , finely chopped1 1green oniongreen onions, finely chopped
- 1/4 tsp pepper 1/4 1/4tsp tsppepper
- 1 lb lean ground beef 1 1lb lblean ground beef
- Couscous
- 1 cup shredded carrots 1 1cup cupshredded carrotcarrots
- 1 cup water 1 1cup cupwater
- 1/2 cup orange juice 1/2 1/2cup cuporange juice
- 1/4 tsp salt 1/4 1/4tsp tspsalt
- 1 cup couscous 1 1cup cupcouscous
Preparation
In bowl, beat egg; mix in bread crumbs, teriyaki sauce, onion and pepper. Mix in beef and form into four 1-inch (2.5 cm) thick patties. In nonstick skillet, cook patties over medium heat, turning once, for 12 to 14 minutes or until no longer pink inside.
Couscous: In saucepan, bring shredded carrots, water, orange juice and salt to boil; stir in couscous. Remove pan from heat; cover and let stand for 5 minutes. Fluff couscous with fork.
Additional information :
Tip: If your skillet isn't nonstick, brush lightly with vegetable oil.
