Ingredients
- 1 tbsp margarine 1 1tbsp tbspmargarine or butter
- 2 onions , chopped2 2oniononions, chopped
- 1 can (7-1/2 oz/213 g) pink salmon , (undrained)1 1can (7-1/2 oz/213 g) can (7-1/2 oz/213 g)pink salmon, (undrained)
- 1/2 cup milk 1/2 1/2cup cupmilk
- 1 tsp vinegar 1 1tsp tspvinegar or lemon juice
- 2 slices of bread , cubed2 2slices of bread, cubed
- 2 eggs , beaten2 2eggeggs, beaten
- 1 pinch pepper 1 1pinch pinchpepper
Preparation
In skillet, heat margarine or butter over medium-high heat; cook onions for 2 to 3 minutes or until softened.
In bowl and using potato masher, mash salmon; mix in onions, milk, vinegar, bread, eggs and pepper. Spread in greased 8- or 9-inch (20 or 23 cm) pie-plate; bake at 350°F (180°C) for 25 to 30 minutes or until set.
