Forget the punch. This trendy cocktail is even better when there is lots to share, as in this pitcher.
Ingredients
- 1-1/2 cups vodka 1-1/2 1-1/2cups cupsvodka
- 1/2 cup cranberry juice 1/2 1/2cup cupcranberry juice
- 1/4 cup orange-flavoured liqueur 1/4 1/4cup cuporange-flavoured liqueur
- 2 tbsp lime juice 2 2tbsp tbsplime juice
- 8 frozen cranberries , (optional)8 8frozen cranberries, (optional)
- 8 lime wheels 8 8lime wheels
Preparation
In pitcher, stir together vodka, cranberry juice, liqueur and lime juice. Top with ice; stir until well chilled.
Garnish glasses with cranberry (if using) and lime wheel. Strain cocktail into glasses.
Additional information : Variation
Nonalcoholic Cosmopolitans: Omit vodka and orange liqueur. Increase cranberry juice to 2 cups (500 mL). Add 1 cup (250 mL) ginger ale, 1/2 cup (125 mL) orange juice and 2 tbsp (25 mL) lime juice. Top with ice.
