Little hands become creative pizza makers with this easy grilled submarine sandwich.

Ingredients

  • 1 soft sausage bun 1 soft sausage bun or hot dog bun
  • 1 slice deli salami , halved1 slice deli salami, halved
  • 2 tbsp diced seeded tomato 2 tbsp diced seeded tomato
  • 1 tbsp diced sweet green pepper 1 tbsp diced sweet green pepper
  • 1/4 cup shredded mozzarella cheese 1/4 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

Preparation

Top 1 half of bun with salami, tomato and green pepper; sprinkle with cheese. Top with remaining half of bun.

Grill in panini press until crisp, browned and cheese is melted, 2 to 3 minutes. (Or grill in skillet over medium heat, pressing and turning once, 5 to 6 minutes.)
