- Portion size 4 servings
- 2 lbs potatoes (about 5)
- 1/2 cup buttermilk
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
- shredded cheese or cheese blend
Peel and cut potatoes into chunks. Cook, covered, in pot of boiling salted water for 15 to 20 minutes or until fork-tender; drain well. With potato masher, mash until smooth.
Mix in buttermilk, salt and pepper. Sprinkle with shredded cheese or cheese blend.
