As a member of the parsley family, dill goes naturally well with potatoes, and is a great flavour enhancer to the starchy spud. This recipe makes a great side for a roast or broiled dish.
Ingredients
- 8 small new potatoes , (or 4 potatoes, halved)8 8small new potatonew potatoes, (or 4 potatoes, halved)
- 1 tbsp butter 1 1tbsp tbspbutter or olive oil
- 1/4 tsp dried dillweed 1/4 1/4tsp tspdried dillweed
- 1/4 tsp each salt and pepper 1/4 1/4tsp tspeach salt and pepper
Preparation
In saucepan of boiling salted water, cover and boil potatoes until tender, about 15 minutes. Drain and return to pan. Add butter, dillweed, salt and pepper, toss to coat.
