Ingredients
- 1-1/2 cups water 1-1/2 1-1/2cups cupswater
- 1 cup jasmine or other long-grain white rice 1 1cup cupjasmine or other long-grain white rice
- 1/4 tsp salt 1/4 1/4tsp tspsalt
- 1 tbsp grated lemon rind 1 1tbsp tbspgrated lemon rind
- 1 chopped green onion , (green part only)1 1chopped green oniongreen onions, (green part only)
Preparation
In saucepan, bring water, rice and salt to boil. Reduce heat to low; cover and simmer until tender and no liquid remains, about 20 minutes.
Stir in lemon rind and green onion. Let stand, covered, for 5 minutes.
