Ingredients

  • 1 tbsp 1tbsppaprika
  • 1 tbsp 1tbspgranulated sugar
  • 1 tsp 1tspsalt
  • 1 tsp 1tspground cumin
  • 1/2 tsp 1/2tspground coriander
  • 1/2 tsp 1/2tspcayenne pepper
  • 1/2 tsp 1/2tspdried oregano
  • 3 lb 3lbpork back ribs or pork side ribs
  • Maple Barbecue Sauce:
  • 1/2 cup 1/2cupketchup
  • 2 tbsp 2tbspcider vinegar
  • 1 tbsp 1tbspmaple syrup
  • 1 tbsp 1tbspWorcestershire sauce
  • 1 tsp 1tspchili powder

Preparation

Combine paprika, sugar, salt, cumin, coriander, cayenne and oregano; rub all over ribs. Place on rack in roasting pan; roast in 425°F (220°C) oven for 45 minutes, turning once. Pour off fat.

Maple Barbecue Sauce: Meanwhile, in saucepan, bring ketchup, vinegar, maple syrup, Worcestershire sauce and chili powder to boil. Reduce heat and simmer, stirring often, for 10 minutes. Brush all over ribs. Roast until sticky, about 10 minutes.
