4 cups (1 L) thinly sliced halved zucchini
1 tsp (5 mL) salt
1/4 cup (50 mL) rice vinegar
2 tsp (10 mL) each granulated sugar and sesame oil
2 cloves garlic, minced
1/4 tsp (1 mL) hot pepper flakes
Preparation:
In bowl, toss zucchini with sa< let stand for 15 minutes. Drain and squeeze out liquid. Add vinegar, sugar, sesame oil, garlic, and hot pepper flakes. Toss to combine.
