Ingredients
- 1 pkg (454 g) firm tofu 1 pkg (454 g) firm tofu or extra-firm tofu
- 2 cloves garlic , finely minced2 cloves garlic, finely minced

- Jerk Barbecue Sauce:
- 1 cup bottled strained tomatoes , (passata)1 cup bottled strained tomatoes, (passata)
- 2 tbsp fancy molasses 2 tbsp fancy molasses
- 4 tsp prepared jerk sauce 4 tsp prepared jerk sauce
- 2 tsp malt vinegar 2 tsp malt vinegar
- 1/4 tsp dried thyme 1/4 tsp dried thyme
Preparation
Meanwhile, cut tofu into 24 cubes. In bowl, toss tofu, garlic, soy sauce and oil; let stand for 10 minutes.
Cut each red, orange and yellow pepper into 24 pieces; cut each onion in half. Thread vegetables and tofu alternately onto soaked wooden skewers; brush with sauce.
Place on greased grill over medium-high heat; close lid and cook, turning and brushing with sauce, until vegetables are tender and slightly browned. Serve with coleslaw.
