Zesty, sweet-sour sauce slathered on pork ribs makes a fantastic fall entrée.

Ingredients

  • 3 lbs pork back ribs centre cut removed
  • 3 lbs pork side ribs centre cut removed
  • 3 tablespoons packed brown sugar
  • 4 teaspoons paprika
  • 4 teaspoons ground cumin
  • 1 teaspoon salt

Cut ribs into 2-rib portions; place, meaty side up, in single layer in foil-lined roasting pan. In small bowl, combine brown sugar, paprika, cumin and salt ; rub over ribs. Cover with foil; roast in 400°F (200°C) oven for 1 hour.

Remove ribs; drain fat from pan. Return ribs to pan; brush with barbecue sauce. Roast, uncovered, in 400°F (200°C) oven until browned and edges are crisp, about 20 minutes.
