Serve these simply delicious clams with some sliced baguette to soak up any clam juice and seasoned butter.

Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 1 clove garlic pressed or minced
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
  • 1 lb littleneck clam (about 12)
  • 1 lb cherrystone clams (about 12)

Method

Mix together butter, lemon juice and garlic; microwave on high until butter is melted (or melt in small skillet). Stir in parsley.

Grill clams, covered, over high heat until they open, about 8 minutes. Carefully, without spilling clam liquor in bottom shells, transfer to platter. Spoon some of the butter mixture into each.
