Serve these simply delicious clams with some sliced baguette to soak up any clam juice and seasoned butter.
- Portion size 4 servings
- 1/4 cup butter
- 2 tablespoons lemon juice
- 1 clove garlic pressed or minced
- 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
- 1 lb littleneck clam (about 12)
- 1 lb cherrystone clams (about 12)
MethodMix together butter, lemon juice and garlic; microwave on high until butter is melted (or melt in small skillet). Stir in parsley.
Grill clams, covered, over high heat until they open, about 8 minutes. Carefully, without spilling clam liquor in bottom shells, transfer to platter. Spoon some of the butter mixture into each.
