This is a great recipe for diabetics or those who wish to lose weight.

  • 7 cups spinach leaves
  • 2 cups mixed fresh berries (blueberries, raspberries, and halved strawberries)
  • 1/3 cup sliced and toasted almond
  • 1/4 cup thinly sliced red onion
  • 1/4 lb boneless skinless chicken breast cooked and cut into bite size pieces
  • 1/4 cup calorie wise creamy poppyseed dressing


Toss spinach with all remaining ingredients except dressing. Drizzle with dressing just before serving
