Cocktail Crisps

A cheesy, crispy, easy-to-make appetizer.

  • 1 225 g stick butter
  • 1 250 g tub sharp Cheddar cheese use MacLaren's Imperial Sharp Cold Pack Ceddar Cheese
  • 1/4 teaspoon tabasco sauce
  • 1/4 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 1/2 cup flour
  • 4 cups Rice Krispies®


Soften butter and cheese, and cream together. Add tabasco and Worcestershire sauce.

Stir in the flour and Rice Krispies. Mix well.

Shape into balls and press down with a fork which has been dipped in cold water. or roll into logs. Chill; cut into slices.

Bake at 350 F for 10-15 minutes, or until lightly browned.
